Telikom Limited Home Ownership Scheme

Telikom Limited’s Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) has been reactivated after 17 years.

The HOS policy was drafted and approved by the Telikom Limited Board in December 2021 and stipulates the utilization of equity provided by Telikom Limited to its staff to obtain a loan to purchase a home.

The first batch was rolled out in January 2022, in which 23 applicants were successful and 19 have so far obtained their home loans while the other 4 are still in process. A second batch will soon be rolled out.

In a key presentation ceremony on Thursday 22nd September, Telikom Board Chairman Cedric Rondoke, Telikom Board Member Moses Tedumo, Telikom CEO Amos Tepi and members of Telikom Limited’s Senior Management team congregated at Port Moresby’s Skyview Estate to hand over house keys to one of the first successful Telikom HOS applicants.

Said the CEO, “When staff retire from Telikom Limited, I want them to not only have their superannuation to look forward to, but also a home for them and their families. This is why we have re-activated the Telikom Home Ownership Scheme”.
