Telikom Chairman Highlights Successes and Gratitude in Closing Speech at PITA Event

Thank you all for coming to this PITA event. Your presence here plus your active participations have made this event a huge success.
Before proceeding onto my short speech, I would like to firstly thank PITA and all our Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Corporate sponsors for your help in hosing this event.
I also would like to thank Hilton’s management and its staff for offering their service to PITA 27 AGM. We hope we have been good guest to your impeccable hotel business.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Telikom’s management and its staff for taking on this mammoth task, planning it and successfully delivering a one-of a kind PITA event in the history of PITA’s 27 years of existence.
I sincerely hope that you all have enjoyed your stay here in Port Moresby during the duration of the PITA 2027 AGM.
I note that there were many good presentations relating to the theme of PITA 2027. In addition to that, I hope that you all have expanded your business contacts in the last four days. For many, I believe you have now put face to the names of your business contacts that you have been communicating with on-line.
We at Telikom Limited are very grateful to PITA for allowing us to host the event. This event has been very fruitful to us. We have made friends with many people along the way.
Some of the highlights for Telikom Limited are:
- Signed an MOU agreement with Amboya for exclusive wireless cloud based PABX rights in PNG and Solomon Islands,
- Signed an MOU with Skytel as an exclusive distributor for primary link in PNG,
- Signed an MOU with the US based Bankai group for assistance in international messaging, calling, roaming and gateway services.
- Facilitated the launching of Lynk in Bmobile Solomon Islands
In addition to the above, Iam proud to say that Cybernatic Global Intelligence announced during this PITA event that Telikom is one of those companies that will achieve its ISO 27001 certification – this relates to information security.
I hope that this event has achieved its objectives and you all will have many fond memories of this event, people and the country.
