Winnie Andrias
Winnie Andrias is the Chief Technical Officer for Technical Service Division. He is a career telecommunication engineer with 25 years’ service with Telikom Limited.
Winnie has worked in various leadership roles over the years and is currently responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of technology resources within Telikom Limited in PNG and Solomon Islands. His role includes communicating with other executives, performing research on new technologies that could enhance the business and monitoring use and implementation of new and existing technologies across departments. The key responsibilities include;
- Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources
- Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
- Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure
- Managing CAPEX and OPEX programs ICT and Fixed and Mobile Network
Winnie holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Divine Word University, a Diploma in Telecommunications Management and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science from the University of Papua New Guinea. In addition, Winnie has also had training and attained a Full Diploma in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the City & Guilds of London Institute, England, UK. He is a member of member of IEPNG as a companion.
